Favourite Friday | Demon Slayer Puzzle

I wonder when was the last time I just sat and let my mind off for a bit and play a set of puzzle! I got this 300-piece Demon Slayer puzzle off the internet recently and boy, I regretted the fact I didn't get the 1000-piece set instead. I had so much fun figuring out every piece of this puzzle and my screen time went down like 10% which is good as I really need to lay off TikTok as I have that habit of scrolling down my For You feed till in 3 in the morning you'd see.

The pieces came in a bag of plastic but I've gotten rid of it at this point as I can simply just keep them in the box afterwards.

For the most part, I struggle a lot fitting the pieces for Tanjiro as those are quite similar but the hardest part would be the top yellow parts of the background. I spent like an hour just on the top part alone.

I've completed the puzzle for the first time in like 3 hours and of course I dismantle everything to play with them again right after.

The puzzle came with a special glue to set your puzzle in place but I guess it's going to be awhile before I'm going to stick them up in a frame.

Overall, I really like the colourfulness of the puzzle and it's seriously so much fun! I really wish to get SEGA figures with the exact same poses as the ones in puzzle but these ones from Banpresto will do.

So I guess that's all of it! How are you spending your free time indoor these days? Definitely let me know by leaving comments down below. See you next post and happy weekend!

Log | Health Supplement Update

I basically finished my first Blackmores Buffered C bottle and so far, I'm doing fine with no symptoms of fever or anything. I haven't down with anything for the past year and I am actually surprised because I usually down with 2 or 3 fevers a year. I'm currently on my second bottle and I think I'm going to repurchase this or the Bio C one that I went with throughout last year. We'll see about the promotions on-going at the store in Suria Sabah in the coming months.

At this point, I'm already halfway through my third bottle of Blackmores Evening Primrose Oil and I love how my periods are getting more regular compared to before. I absolutely recommend this to my friends and family as it's so good in regulating hormones. Here's an interesting article on EPO.

When it comes to the Calcium however, I don't really know what to expect nor feel the difference but I feel like I can digest dairy products like cheese better ever since I'm taking the latest addition to my daily consumption which is that Digestive Enzyme Plus. I got that as a gift with purchase but I'd be sure to purchase when I'm done with it.

So that's about it! I hope you guys find this post helpful if you're in the middle of choosing the right supplements for your body. Let me know your options down in the comment section below. Have a lovely weekend ahead!

Figurine | Banpresto Demon Slayer FIGURE Guardians of the Night - Fourth Form

I've heard that this fourth Banpresto figurine for Demon Slayer anime which for is Inosuke Hashibira (嘴平 伊之助 Hashibira Inosuke) character stirred quite controversial among Malaysian figure collectors as the character wears wild boar headgear but I don't really see it that way because once you saw his face, I bet you just can't un-see it!

Of course, this figurine is part of Demon Slayer : Guardians of the Night (鬼滅の刃フィギュアー絆ノ装 Kimetsu no Yaiba Figua - Kizuna no Sou) designed by Banpresto Co. Ltd. (toy company that has merged with Bandai Spirits Co., Ltd. since 2019) as well as the other figurines I've posted about previously and at this point, this is the fourth Inosuke's figure (two from Banpresto Q Posket and another from the same line) in my whole collection. I'd be sure to post about the others real soon, okay!

Now, let's talk about the packaging!

After extensive search through several online shopping platforms, I've finally managed to find this figurine on Shopee as I've decided that it's the best platform for buying figurines released prior last year and after making comparisons to the photos posted on myfigurecollection.net, I'm confident that this figure is indeed authentic so it was a huge relief as I've found a lot of fakes and counterfeits i.e bootlegs also sold on the very same platform.

I've noticed that the front elevation of the figurine being printed on both smaller sides of the box with the right side featuring the A version or the Sepia Colour version of the previous release of figurines; Zenitsu Agatsuma - Third Form in Sepia Colour version was featured along side the Fourth Form of this figurine line which is  B version in normal colour as shown above.

At the back of the box, there's the front elevation of the figurine being printed again along with the manufacturer address at the bottom part of the box. Also, there's the manufacturing date printed at the bottom side of the box which is June, 2020 hence this figurine that I've gotten is actually a re-release version of the figurine as it first came out back in October, 2019.

At the top side of the box, there's the official anime logo with the figurine's name printed on it. There's also the indicator (white box) that this figurine is for Sales Outside Japan Only. According to a Shopee seller, an authentic figure always comes in a box and there's serial number stamped on the inner side of of the top (sometimes bottom) lid of the box so definitely check yours before cutting open the plastic cover.

Now, the figurine came with an inner packaging that supposedly hold the unassembled figurine inside so even when the outer box get smashed into half of its size, not to worry as the figurine should be safe for you to unbox. Well, I'd sure hope so as I've already gotten one figurine with torn outer box at this point and it's still in perfect condition although the Shopee seller sure got a long review (read : rant) with multiple photos and a video.

Of course, the figurine came in unassembled parts as shown above sealed in clear plastics; usually in 3 to 6 parts depending on the design but for this Third Form, there's the black oval base, the body, the head then two of Inosuke's nichirin blades and these took me less than a minute to assemble although I've spent like 10 minutes trying to attach the swords but I've decided to put a smallest drop of instant glue in the end.

Of course, I would prefer to get a figurine with action pose; the same as Zenitsu but to be honest, I really don't have much space to go one with action pose which usually takes upon a lot of space so I'm going to hold onto this for a much longer. Still, the build is quite nice don't you guys think?

Side elevations of the figurine. The swords fell out like several times as I turned the figure around several times to take the photos hence I decided to paste them permanently. I love the details on his fur thing around his waist by the way! Saw the bootleg ones and I totally can spot the differences right away.

Back elevation of the figurine. Damn that back muscle! By the way, I've noticed that Inosuke was wearing the same pants as he fought a member of Demon Slayer that sort of invading Inosuke's mountain area prior deciding on going for the Final Selection. Did you guys know about this? Because I remember Zenitsu noticing what he was wearing upon their first encounter and mentioned that he's wearing Demon Slayer uniform.

Inosuke was featured on the cover of the fourth volume of the original Japanese manga and Viz Media's official English comic along with Tanjirou and I'm pretty sure it's the scene when Tanjirou head-butted Inosuke while they were fighting upon their first encounter. Man, I can't believe Inosuke was sulking more about the head-butt rather than upsetting over his 4 broken ribs!

So that's the other version of Inosuke and yes, same pose without the boar headgear. They should've just sold this fourth figurine with both heads at slightly higher price but I know that's not the manufacturer style for this figurine line. I guess that's all of it! I'll see you guys on next week's post!

Stacked Saturday | Banpresto My Hero Academia The Amazing Heroes Figures Vol. 1 to 11

Here's the latest update on these Banpresto figures for My Hero Academia as part of their The Amazing Heroes lineup featuring the characters in action poses. The new additions would be figures featuring the characters that were introduced up until the fourth season of the anime like the two out of the Big Three of U.A High School; Amajiki Tamaki and Mirio Togata! I'm still re-watching the first two seasons so it's going to be awhile before I'm going to actually see them and learned about their quirks but did you notice Vol. 10? Released together with Tenya is another figure of Izuku "Deku" Midoriya with the exact pose except for his facial expression and in a much cooler blue tone compared to the first volume.

While I'm still working on the logistics to do the unboxing videos for these figures, do stay tuned for more updates coming up real soon, okay!

Figurine | Banpresto Demon Slayer FIGURE Guardians of the Night - Third Form

This week, I'll be featuring my third Banpresto figurine for Demon Slayer anime manufactured by Bandai Spirits Co., Ltd. and it's my fourth favourite character right after Giyu, Tanjirou and Nezuko; Zenitsu Agatsuma (我妻 善逸 Agatsuma Zenitsu). I'm not going to lie, it takes me a long time before my ears got used to Shimono Hiro's (character's voice actor) loud screams while watching the the first season last year but the moment of awe came for me in the 12th episode as he was so scared to the point of loosing consciousness and bam! Spoiler alert! Zenitsu in sleep-mode awaken, used the Thunder Breathing: First Form - Thunderclap and Flash as he slay the head of the demon. Man, I had goosebump at that time.

As you're probably expected, this figurine is part of Demon Slayer : Guardians of the Night (鬼滅の刃フィギュアー絆ノ装 Kimetsu no Yaiba Figua - Kizuna no Sou) designed by Banpresto Co. Ltd. (toy company that has merged with Bandai Spirits Co., Ltd. since 2019) and at this point, this is the third Zenitsu's figure in my whole collection. I'd be sure to post about the others real soon, okay!

But first off, let's talk about the packaging!

I've noticed that the front elevation of the figurine being printed on both smaller sides of the box with the right side featuring the A version or the Sepia Colour version of the previous release of figurines; Nezuko Kamado Second Form in Sepia Colour version was featured along side the Third Form of this figurine line which is  B version in normal colour as shown above.

At the back of the box, there's the front elevation of the figurine being printed again along with the manufacturer address at the bottom part of the box. Also, there's the manufacturing date printed at the bottom side of the box which is May, 2020 hence this figurine that I've gotten is actually a re-release version of the figurine as it first came out back in September, 2019.

Of course, I would prefer to get a figurine with action pose but to be honest, I'm running out of space in my shelf so I'm going to appreciate this a little bit more while waiting for my new display shelves to arrive as I'm aiming to get one from Figma or Ichibankuji. I've got to say that this figurine has the best  work for the collar part among others that I have especially Tanjirou whereby the collar line got messed up a bit.

Side elevations of the figurine. I've compared Zenitsu's haori finishes to Tanjirou's and they have a bit of similar feeling; mattified and quite smooth to touch.

Back elevation of the figurine. The orange colour totally suits Zenitsu as character and of course, the colour screams thunder and lightning!

Zenitsu was featured on the cover of the third volume of the original manga along with Tanjirou so you guys can see they're showing off their newly earned Demon Slayer uniform. I love the tone for this figure isn't too bright like it'll pop so much like Kyoujuro's nor too muted like the Q Posket Sepia version.

It's just Zenitsu along with the sibling but I totally can't wait to add more to this line-up especially it's missing Inosuke although for now. I'd be sure to update some more in the next week! Stay tuned!

Log | Portable Mini Fridge

I'll be honest. It's impossible to pack all my skincare products in a single mini fridge hence I only pack my sheet masks in it and apply some during the long drive to my mum's hometown but of course I'm going to pack some canned beverages in it.

While I don't think having a mini fridge or as I called it, beauty fridge is essential yet having it is truly something to be thankful for but what do you think? Would you purchase one? Let me know by leaving comments down below.

Disclaimer | This beauty fridge is provided by Kayman Beauty, a local skincare brand that carries some of my favourite skincare products. Check them out at www.kaymanbeauty.com

Figurine | Banpresto Demon Slayer FIGURE Guardians of the Night - Second Form

On the continuation of my current obsession of collecting Banpresto figurines for Demon Slayer anime, I've picked up the second figurine from the same line as the one I've bought previously which was manufactured by Bandai Spirits Co., Ltd. featuring the waifu of many otaku out there, Nezuko Kamado (竈門 禰豆子 - Kamado Nezuko) or  as we all call her, Nezuko-chaaaaaaaaaaaan!

Of course, this figurine is part of Demon Slayer : Guardians of the Night (鬼滅の刃フィギュアー絆ノ装 Kimetsu no Yaiba Figua - Kizuna no Sou) designed by Banpresto Co. Ltd. (toy company that has merged with Bandai Spirits Co., Ltd. since 2019) and I just love how she's looking so sweet in here.

But first off, let's go the packaging!

After extensive search through several online shopping platforms, I've finally managed to find this figurine on Shopee as I've decided that it's the best platform for buying figurines as of right now. After making comparisons to the photos posted on myfigurecollection.net, I'm confident that this figure is indeed authentic so it was a huge relief as I've found a lot of fakes and counterfeits also sold on the very same platform.

I've noticed that the front elevation of the figurine being printed on both smaller sides of the box with the right side featuring the A version or the Sepia Colour version of the previous release of figurines; Tanjirou Kamado First Form in Sepia Colour version was featured along side the Second Form of this figurine line which is Nezuko Kamado B version in normal colour as shown above.

At the back of the box, there's the front elevation of the figurine being printed again along with the manufacturer address at the bottom part of the box. There's the manufacturing date printed at the bottom side of the box which is May, 2020 hence this figurine that I've gotten is actually a re-release version of the figurine as it first came out back in September, 2019.

Well, I'd sure hope so as I've already gotten one figurine with torn outer box at this point and it's still in perfect condition although the Shopee seller sure got a long review with multiple photos and a video.

Of course, the figurine came in unassembled parts as shown above sealed in clear plastics; usually in 3 to 6 parts depending on the design but for this Second Form, there's the black oval base, the body and then the head and these took me less than a minute to assemble.

Aww~ Just look at her! Such a cutipie and innocent-looking she is! Kinda wish I can tie my hair with a pink ribbon like that too with matching pink contact lenses. Okay, I seriously need to at least come up with a makeup look for this.

Side elevations of the figurine. I don't know if you guys can see it clearly but the gradation effect on her hair wasn't painted nicely and at some parts are looking as if the colours are chipped. Even so, I think they nailed the colour nicely.

Back elevation of the figurine. Look at her hair flowing like that!

Among all the figurines that I've gotten from this line, Nezuko is the only with such embossed copyright logo on it. I think it's probably because there are mountains of bootlegs for this character out there so this is one of the ways to determine the authenticity of this figurine.

While Nezuko-chan actually being featured on 11th volume of the original manga, I won't spoil you guys with her 'changed' look especially the second season of the anime is coming in less than a year. But if you're willing to buy the original Japanese manga, you gotta appreciate the alternate cover that's printed on the actual comic or you can just see the coloured version of it at the end credit of Demon Slayer anime Season 1 Episode 19.

Nezuko-chan and her ever-loving brother, Tanjirou-niichan! What do you guys think of this figurine? Does it feel like it's coming out of your screen or manga page? Definitely let me know by leaving comments down below.
