Tree Monk Coffee, Lintas Jaya Uptownship

Now that I've settled in my new place, it's time to continue another episode of Cafe Hopping episode and this time it's another cafe that I've recently discovered, Tree Monk Coffee; a Kota Kinabalu-based Coffee Roaster.

As this is the first time I've been to the cafe, I decided to order a sandwich and the above is their chicken sandwich with pickle in balsamic vinegar on the side. It tastes really nice and I really enjoyed every bit of it. I remember the chicken was nicely cooked (not fried!) and there was veggies; simmered with fresh tomatoes and lettuce.

The interior was nice and cozy; I was lucky as I was only customer at that time around 7 p.m. and people started pouring in around 8 so the overall ambiance was calming which I appreciate as I did had a long day that day.

There's a tree in the middle of the cafe which is so unique and giving natural vibe to the whole place with the furniture are also in natural wood colour. The floor was covered in tiles that looks like those that I've seen in old house making me feel slightly nostalgic.

The above is the current opening hours for the cafe but to keep yourself updated, do check their Instagram and Facebook Page out for latest information.

I guess that's all from me! I'll be back with my thoughts on their coffee very soon. Until next time!

Beginning of a New Chapter

Looking at this very photo from 2015 suddenly makes me realised that I haven't properly blog about things that I've been enjoying apart from all the pretty little things that I've posted on my other blog for a very long time.

I think it's about time for me to do more posts on my love for cafe-hopping, books that I'm currently reading, music that have been playing non-stop on my playlist and of course, the places that I've been.

Definitely similar to what I've been doing on social media but I'd like to write more instead of  just doing little captions on Instagram.

I miss writing. Really. I've been sticking to whatever is necessary; as provided in product review guidelines, I feel like I need to balance the black and white things in my life and evaluate the grey lines I've been walking on in between these two.
