I've been trying to keep my working days to be 3 days a week beginning last month because I've been participating in online courses on managing construction projects. Ordered another beverage from ZUS Coffee Banana series again as it tasted so good last time but this time I requested for less sugar. Unlike in the capital city; Kota Kinabalu, the branch that I've ordered from opens at 9 am which is quite late compared so my coffee arrived after my course started.

Log | Finally got my pink tumbler from ZUS Coffee

I actually gotten the other 3 colours available for this Frozee cup; the OG one with blue lid, mint and coral like a couple of months ago as this pink one was out of stock but I quickly checked out once ZUS Coffee updated their inventory on Shopee. I guess it's a good thing I didn't remove it from my cart when it went out of stock last time.

Another 2 months then it's going to be a year since I stopped supporting Starbucks and I'm glad to report that it has been fun exploring local coffee brands and cafes.

As I expected, lots of matcha-based beverages launched by different cafes recently and I'm starting with one from ZUS Coffee, their new Not Pistachio Latte. 

I'm already a big fan of their Barista Coconut milk so this is a must-try for me and I loved it! Not too sweet for my taste and even though there's no actual pistachio in it, it did tasted similarly. The matcha tasted nicely too with slight bitterness that got balanced out with the creamy coconut milk. I requested whipped cream as I was picking this up instead of the usual delivery to my office and overall it's a lovely treat after months of late nights at the office as I was dealing with my accounting auditors.

On average, I usually managed to complete like one or two missions but I did more for this month of June. The one mission that I completed for the first time ever since they've came up with their app is that one for the early bird. Like I said, I've been spending late nights at the office hence I needed more caffeine in the morning. Boy, I'm so glad as I can finally go back to my normal office hours after more than 3 months and I can't wait to catch up with so many things especially this season's anime but first, I'm going to get some good night sleep.

This was exactly a month ago, before the chaos began. June is the month when I would be dealing with auditors so I’ve been having late nights at the office quite frequently throughout the past month but I know that new matcha-based beverages are coming usually at this time of the year so I just can’t wait for this to be over! 

Log | Day 1 of Work Trip to Putrajaya

Phew! Finally settled down after I've had my lovely dinner at Nando's Malaysia right here in Mid Valley Megamall. I wasn't sure if the chicken here is different compared to the ones back home but I'd sure finished my quarter chicken in less than 10 minutes or maybe I'm just hungry after all the walking I've done today.

My flight was at 9.45 this morning and I've arrived around 1 in the afternoon.

I didn't take my coffee early this morning so I've ordered my current favourite from ZUS Coffee and I'm absolutely loving their collaboration with Santan as this iced Spanish latte was served with coconut milk. Yes to that!

Most of my work outfits lately are either browns or beige so I've been wearing this Daniel Wellington's number a lot. I wonder why they closed their store in Suria Sabah shopping mall actually and I had to replace the battery at local watch store.

First thing first right after landing at the airport is to grab my usual soft pretzels and lemonade to get rid of my air-sickness. Next stop, Kementerian Kemajuan Desa dan Wilayah at Putrajaya.

I've always loved their soothing waiting lobby area.

Had to wait for like an hour before I could meet the KKDW officer and then I've booked my Grab ride directly to my hotel at Mid Valley city.

Home for the next 4 days : Cititel Mid Valley! I usually stay here whenever I visit KL because it's safe and I can stay out quite late for movies or hanging out with some friends at cafes that are located within walking distances from this hotel.
