Favourite Friday | Stanley Tumbler

My very first Stanley tumbler is actually the Quencher H2.0 FlowState™ Tumbler in 1.18L size that I've got during my trip to Montanic Adventure in Suria Sabah Shopping Mall last month but the best feature about that tumbler is also the worst one when it comes to me because I have weak arms and I do think it's better for the car cup holder instead of something to be carried everywhere.

So instead of taking my mum's advice to simply shop my tumbler stash that consist of different types of Starbucks tumbler, I just ordered another one via Shopee hence this IceFlow™ AeroLight™ Thermos Bottle. I prefer ambience or cold plain water from my ever trusted water purifier so I don't need something to maintain hot water anyway and I just loved the black colour as it matches well with my usual work outfits. I'd definitely recommend this if you're like me who always travel with cold bottled water and have access to easy refills on-the-go.

Favourite Friday | Llao Llao Frozen Yogurt

As I've been swamped with work for the past couple months, my cravings towards sweet things are almost uncontrollable therefore I've been frequenting llao llao for froyo treats a lot.

I would always go with nuts and cookie crumbles as toppings but for the sauce, I'm so loving coconut sauce these days! So yummy as it balances the sourness of the yogurt and the added crunchiness of the nuts that I've mixed in.

Do you like frozen yogurt? Or you'd prefer the regular ones? Tell me by leaving comments down below and have a lovely weekend ahead!

Favourite Friday | Demon Slayer Puzzle

I wonder when was the last time I just sat and let my mind off for a bit and play a set of puzzle! I got this 300-piece Demon Slayer puzzle off the internet recently and boy, I regretted the fact I didn't get the 1000-piece set instead. I had so much fun figuring out every piece of this puzzle and my screen time went down like 10% which is good as I really need to lay off TikTok as I have that habit of scrolling down my For You feed till in 3 in the morning you'd see.

The pieces came in a bag of plastic but I've gotten rid of it at this point as I can simply just keep them in the box afterwards.

For the most part, I struggle a lot fitting the pieces for Tanjiro as those are quite similar but the hardest part would be the top yellow parts of the background. I spent like an hour just on the top part alone.

I've completed the puzzle for the first time in like 3 hours and of course I dismantle everything to play with them again right after.

The puzzle came with a special glue to set your puzzle in place but I guess it's going to be awhile before I'm going to stick them up in a frame.

Overall, I really like the colourfulness of the puzzle and it's seriously so much fun! I really wish to get SEGA figures with the exact same poses as the ones in puzzle but these ones from Banpresto will do.

So I guess that's all of it! How are you spending your free time indoor these days? Definitely let me know by leaving comments down below. See you next post and happy weekend!

Favourite Friday | Pekan Nabalu

This has always been a favourite spot before continuing our long-drive to Sandakan. There isn't much going on during this pandemic but sipping coffee while looking at this view is definitely hitting that sweet spot of serenity that seems to be lacking in my life these days.

Favourite Friday | Starbucks Caramel Pure Matcha Choc Chip Frappucino

I know, this beverage supposedly have Caramel drizzle but I was craving for caramel cheesecake with some macadamia nuts so I requested for the barista to omitted the drizzle and topped my whipped cream with chocolate drizzle instead.

Just look at the matcha powder! Definitely given me some odd aftertaste but I love it! It's like eating matcha dark chocolate I think and changing the milk to soy was indeed a lovely idea as it tones down the dairy affect on me a little bit.

I do love it but I'm already looking forward to their V-day's crafts soon!

Are you over your winter beverages already or already craving for some panna cotta and jelly as we move towards hotter months?

Favourite Friday | Disinfectant Sprays

Of course, I just had to bring a bottle of this disinfectant spray to work especially with so many unconfirmed and confirmed flu viruses and whatnot. This product is indeed a favourite item of mine for about 3 weeks now.

At this time, I'd suggest for you guys to avoid public places like shopping malls to reduce the risks of being affected by those unwanted diseases.

I wish you all a great long weekend ahead and take care until the next post!

Favourite Friday | Starbucks Handcrafted Beverage

I know that some of you might think that Starbucks beverages are overrated because I do think so too but as someone who is addicted to most of their beverages for over 10 years, I'll say this. Every single cup was a treat. Don't think so? You can simply ask the barista to make another for you.

The brand's Americano (black coffee) is not as exquisite as Tenom coffee to me (although I only like the freshly brewed; not mass-produced sachets) and that's just me but when it comes to festive beverages, I love them! I don't know about you but I intend to indulge my sweet treats according to season. Like at this time of the year, aren't we all enjoying nutty delicacies, cookies and lots of keropok due to Chinese New Year? I sure am!

The above featured beverage here is indeed my first cup of Starbucks for 2020. I'm not overly fond of iced beverages so this Okinawa Brown Sugar Latte isn't that impressive, really. I definitely would prefer to make it as a frappuccino (ice blended, you mundane) and add a shot of vanilla or hazelnut syrup to enhance the taste.

Spotted the new 2020 Starbucks planner at the back? You bet you did! It's the limited edition one (literally limited as only one box of it was sent to every branch) and I have already butchered it. That's actually for my other blog and I'm gonna use the blue sister for TGLB.

What's your favourite Starbucks beverage? Indulge me in the comment section down below. Until next post, ciao!

Favourite Friday | Colour

Shirren Lim | at the crossroads ii: disruptions. Shinjuku

At this point, you guys probably have already been noticing that I'm into monochromatic black and white with the accents of grey being the ultimate shades of colour that I love the most. I find it weird when people ask or joke about whether I've read 50 Shades of Grey or not though.

... you might say that I picked this thing up while I was in architecture school. True! I've always love one colour at a time; pink for most of my childhood, orange when I was 16 and purple for most of my twenties but throughout my days back in studio, I wear black; tops, bottoms, bags, with white-coloured shoes, accessories, etc. for most of the time. Now that I'm entering my 30s, I prefer wearing dusty, muted colours over bright ones especially dusty pinks and purples but this year I've also started collecting wearables in turquoise and teals! I've started loving these two colours ever since I watched Black Butler anime several years ago and I just got some tops and makeup with these colours and boy, they're so pretty!

When it comes to huge purchases like cars, gadgets, etc., I'm pretty sure you guys can relate to having difficulty to choose the colour for them; between what's trendy and your ultimate favourite colour because I'll be honest, I only change my smartphone every 2 years being DiGi Postpaid user since 2008. Given the limited choice of free iPhone that comes with my high monthly plan, I went with white iPhone 2G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5S, rose gold for iPhone 6S and iPhone 7 Plus (decided to step back from iPhone 8 or X as the brand discontinued rose gold devices beginning 2018) so finally after 10 years of being loyal to Apple, I've got myself  an Android smartphone. Guess what's the colour?

I'll see you guys on my next post! Take care!
