One of the must-visit restaurant whenever I'm in the city is definitely Serai Cafe by Serai Group. The first spot that I went to several years ago was in Suria KLCC but I went to the one at MyTown Shopping Mall this time around as I needed to pick up some items from IKEA nearby (also getting real-life inspos for my small apartment) and of course, checking out Sheldonet to see latest Funko Pop! drops at the toy store.
For appetisers, I got the Serai Tasting Platter. The mushroom bruschetta is to die for!
Next is their Creamy Penne Pesto Chicken! This is definitely my absolute favourite despite the fact that I'm actually lactose intolerant but I don't care! lol
Sticking with basics, my cousin went for their Spaghetti Chicken Aglio Olio. Not bad, actually!
Another safe choice which is their Nasi Kerabu but this is actually one of my favourite too so you can't go wrong with this. So yummy!
For desserts, I've ordered their desserts of the day! Perfect for buka puasa!
Overall, everything was so nice especially we were served by their friendly waiters who also originated from East Malaysia. Felt like home while being away is indeed refreshing.
