Shelfie Sunday | Banpresto TEXTURE Figures for My Hero Academia

Just doing my weekly cleaning and I feel like want to share with you guys my TEXTURE figure lineups for My Hero Academia anime.

As for this month, I haven't seen new addition to Banpresto schedule for this figure line although I'm so excited to see more figures added to the Q Posket line. I only have Deku and Bakugo in my line so far; yes to those cuties at the back and I already saw my pre-order for Todoroki went through yesterday while Uraraka will be released sometime next month. I really can't wait to see more additions to the anime Q Posket line and I'm hoping that Bandai Spirits Co. Ltd will add the League of Villains too to the lineups.

I guess that's the quick update on my figure collection and do give my Facebook Page a Like and Follow for more updates on my figure hauls and check out my Figure Unboxing IGTV series on my Instagram too! See you guys on my next post!

Stacked Saturday | Banpresto Q Posket Rurouni Kenshin

So here we are, just days before the release of the final instalment of Warner Brother's Rurouni Kenshin which will be up on Netflix Malaysia and I was just done with the fourth movie; yes, I just had to rewatch the first through the fourth movie before I can finally watch the latest one.

Anyway, I just want to let you guys know that I've posted the reviews for all of the Q Posket figures so definitely check them out and let me know your thoughts on them. Of course, I find that Kenshin to be the cutest among the five figures but you guys know that I'm biased when it comes to that.

Now that I'm about to be done with Samurai X, I wonder if I should start reading the manga - just like when I've finished watching Demon Slayer. Hopefully I can still find Samurai X chapters online.

I guess that's all of it! I can't believe it's already the end of July - I feel like 2021 ran so quickly unlike last year. Not sure if that's a good thing though. Stay home and safe!

Log | Blackmores Evening Primrose Oil

I've finished a set of 3 bottles of Blackmores Evening Primrose Oil sometime last month so I had to repurchase another batch which I did but I saw that jumbo size bottle which is sufficient as 6-month supply yesterday at Guardian in Imago KK Times Square with irresistible price point! Good thing that it's expiring end of next year so all is good!

So the above is my daily health supplement consumption that includes Vitamin C, Calcium, Lecithin, Milk Thistle plus my favourite Evening Primrose Oil. I do take these separately sometimes but I mostly just take everything together after my breakfast.

So that's a quick update on my health supplement and I'd be sure to keep you guys updated in a couple more months. Have a lovely weekend ahead!

Figure | Banpresto Q Posket Rurouni Kenshin - Hajime Saito

Onto the figure review this week, I'm going to talk about another Banpresto Q Posket for Rurouni Kenshin and the third figure that came out from this line back in May is one of the main characters of the live action movie which is Hajime Saito (斎藤 一 Saito Hajime). He left a deep impression on me as he didn't pursue Kenshin further to fight as Kenshin thrust his sword onto the ground, expressing his intention to move forward into the new era as seen in the beginning of the 2012's live-action movie. Anyway, while Saito appeared in his Shinsengumi uniform  in that scene, he's almost always seen in blue policeman's uniform in Meiji era ; throughout the first trilogy of the live-action movies.

But first, let's talk about the packaging in which the figure came in!

As you can see the above, there's the front elevation printed both at the front and back of the box. The design is real nice and just pops right out with the bright colour to complement the figure colour scheme. This is indeed the A version of the figure and looking at the B version with muted light blue colour is almost making me want to grab that too. Of course, there's the Bandai Spirits CO. Ltd. logo at the lower right corner of the box with Banpresto logo at the top right of it as to indicate that this is an authentic item released by the manufacturer.

At the top side of the box, there's the figurine line; Rurouni Kenshin Q Posket printed on it and there's also the round, white and blue logo printed on the lower right part that says Approved by SHUEISHA. Also, there's the manufacturing date printed at the bottom side of the box which is May, 2021 and I'm pretty sure that this is the Asian Version of the figure.

Now, the figurine came with an inner packaging and protector lining that supposedly hold the unassembled figurine inside so even when the outer box get smashed into half of its size, not to worry as the figurine should be safe for you to unbox.

According to my observation, an authentic figure always comes in a box and there's serial number stamped on the inner side of the top (sometimes bottom) lid of the box so definitely check yours before cutting open the plastic cover.

I also noticed that these recent releases have set of number printed right on the plastic and there's also a series of number printed at the foot stand along with Bandai Spirits name and logo.

Of course, the figurine came in unassembled parts, sealed in clear plastics; usually in 3 to 6 parts depending on the design and for this first figure from the line, there's the custom black foot stand, the upper and lower body parts that took me less than a minute to assemble.

Saitō is a rather tall man with a lean but fit frame and he has a long face with pronounced cheekbones and tear-troughs. His eyes are piercing and narrow while yellow in color and his short black hair is neatly slicked back with the exception of four bangs over his forehead. Of course, Banpresto did a good job of translating that into the Q Posket form and boy, he still looks fierce especially in that Isshiki stance!

Front and back elevations.

Some details on his sword and scabbard of where to hook them on his hand and waist respectively.

There's the embossed copyright at the back of Saito's left thigh.

Saito was released simultaneously with Kenshin in Battousai mode.

The whole Q Posket line for Rurouni Kenshin as of this date.

So what do you think of this figure? Have you watched Rurouni Kenshin? Definitely let me know by leaving comments down below and I guess that's all of it! I'll see you guys on next week's post!
